Pallet Oversite. From Production to End User.

Pallet Trak

Verilogic Pallet Trak is modular based and customizable to integrate within the facility infrastructure. It scans, identifies the content of the pallet, labels with one to four Universal Container Code compliance barcodes, validates and reports pallet production data to the Warehouse Management or Enterprise Management system. Providing oversight of each carton on each pallet from the production floor to the end users facility.

How Pallet Trak Works

Interface

  • Maintains communication between the Warehouse Management System (WMS) server and the Pallet TrakTM controlling PC
  • Utilizes current connectivity protocols to provide real-time communication to a variety of systems
  • Data can be retrieved from the host system on a real-time basis or stored/retrieved on the controlling PC

Control/Identification

  • Precisely tracks movement of pallets being transported down one or multiple conveyor lines
  • Determines the label format and information that should be printed and applied to each pallet
  • If mislabeled or unlabeled pallets are detected production will either halt or signal line personnel
  • Communicates with your Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) control system, palletizer PLC or fixed bar code scanners
  • Identifies which pallets have been loaded or provides error messages to the AGV system for special handling

Labeling

  • Retrieves and generates the format and data that is to be printed on each pallet as it passes through the system
  • Provides fully compliant Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) or any other bar code label that can include product descriptions, date codes, order numbers, etc,
  • Processes at speeds up to 10 pallets per minute
  • Control automatic printer/applicators and/or stand-alone printers used in hand-stacking areas

Validation

  • Verification scan to ensure proper data and application for each pallet and communicate and update server and report production activity

Security

  • Prevent unauthorized use of the system by establishing authorized log-on names, passwords and generate an event log to track all labeling activity

System Software – Verilogic system software brings it all together. From the WMS to the individual system components. Our software is custom tailored to meet your business needs.

Control PC – Verilogic can provide Industrial PC’s running Windows Embedded operating System with our systems. These industrial hardened systems have no moving parts and include a 5 year warranty.

License Plate Label – Typically printed on 4″ x 6″ label stock and uniquely identifies each pallet in the supply chain and can include your specific information including product descriptions, date codes, order numbers, etc.

Pallet Label Printer Applicator – Swing Tamp Label Printer Applicators are used in most of our Pallet Labeling Systems. The design of these systems allows them to be configured for leading and side panel or trailing and side panel labeling. All applicators utilize off the shelf components and Zebra print engines.

Induct and Verification Scanners & Imagers – Used to identify products on induct to the labeling system as well as to verify products have been correctly labeled.

PLC Control Interface – Used to signal the conveyor controller and other devices on the line based on events occurring during the labeling process.
